Park Play

With this being my first blog post I didn't want to bore you with my "about me" post (which you can find by clicking on my blurb). I wanted to go right into the things that my family and I enjoy doing and one of those things is taking the rambunctious, outgoing toddler out to the park. I know, I know, this blog post may not be too exciting either but I took tons of pictures of Layla Rose and my husband monkeying around on the playground and it just so happened that I got my blog up and running the same week. I love to capture moments of my husband interacting with his girls and Layla is at that age where her dad is the apple of her eye. It's like, "mama who?" Alex works very hard throughout the week so the weekends are reserved for the Asuncion girls and an occasional date night/friends night out.

Back to the park, we randomly went to my parent's house for some Sunday menudo, which was delicious, and decided to walk off those corn tortillas and 2 bowls of menudo. Olive James, our little wee one, was left at nana and papa's house because she was too tired to join the fun.

See what I mean, daddy's girl all the way.

Yes, Layla gets all her looks from her dad. I know what you are thinking, twins right?

Alex looks so serious in these photos but these pictures don't do his personality justice because he is far from being a serious person.

Pump those legs girl! The swings were also a learning lesson on how to pump her legs. She refused.

Slides are better when your dad slides down with you.

Who said playgrounds were for kids only?

Kid at heart.

That was the end of our park date because after doing too many circles she asked for some medicine. She was a little sick to the tummy. Alex, spun her too much!

It's the little things that I love doing with my family. Even though it's "just going to the park" I know that Layla enjoys it a lot and especially if her dad goes. It's like their little mini date and I am just there to capture the memories but I don't mind it one bit.

    1. Thanks Mae! It took a while but I think it was just the nerves. Thank you again for all your help. It wouldn't look as beautiful if it wasn't for you.
