Current Obsession/Addiction

I have this new current obsession/addiction and it's been going on for about 4 months. It has gradually increased over time and I can't seem to stop! I'm so consumed with it everyday.

I love that I have 2 girls but they can cost a pretty penny just buying them clothes. Girl's clothes are the cutest and every time I go somewhere where there's clothes I am always looking for things for Layla and Olive. I managed to save a ton of clothes from Layla, about 3 1/2 huge storage boxes, and not everything fits Olive. For a while now I have been buying clothes off Instagram stores. People sell anything and everything on there and I somehow started following stores and eventually started buying clothes, used and new, for Layla and Olive.

When New Year's Eve 2013 was here Alex and I stayed home with the little ones and we talked about our New Year resolutions. One of mine was to somehow generate some kind of income even if it was just gas money. Anything helps, right? I decided to open up an Instagram shop called shop_mama_kandi, which you can find here, and sell the girl's clothes. It took off slow but from the start I started selling stuff. I kept checking my IG shop and it was a daily thing all day. I was constantly refreshing my page to see if anyone had bought anything or if anyone had any questions about my items. I also started following more shops meaning more clothes to look at which lead to buying more clothes for the girls. I must say that I have bought so many great pieces of clothing for both girls. From expensive name brands to vintage all for a great price. I love buying clothes for my girls but I will not overpay for a piece of clothing.

With cute clothes like this how can I not have an addiction?! Layla and I love getting the mail everyday because usually four days out of the week there is a package for either her or Olive. It's nice to be able to purchase nice clothes for them along with putting money in the bank account. My poor blog took a hit in March because of my new obsession but hey, at least my girls are looking good, I'm putting something in the bank account, and I've been busy.
