Easter 2014

My little beauties enjoyed Easter this year. They enjoyed their baskets and family time was in full effect. I didn't take too many pictures. We usually spend time with my family first and then head over to the park for Alex's family Easter festivities. Confetti eggs are a staple at the Asuncion Easter celebration along with great BBQ.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this years Easter a lot. Seeing Layla egg hunt and being excited every time she found an egg and having Olive here made for an overall great time.



It's so crazy how Easter baskets change every year. Just looking at Olive's Easter basket reminds me how Layla's Easter was when she was a baby. Layla's Easter basket has gotten girlier and girlier over the past 3 years. I love seeing the change.



We really tried to get an Easter family portrait going but it never happened. We are lucky if we can actually get one in where everyone is looking and smiling all at the same time. Oh, and we tried getting one of Layla and Olive but since Olive is a little too big for Layla this is what was captured. Haha! Layla really tried.



I love their dresses this year. I bought Layla's dress off an Instagram store. It's vintage. I had another one planned but it didn't work out so I am glad I had a backup dress. Olive's dress is absolutely adorable. I got it off Etsy store Supayana.
