It was the last day of spring vacation before Layla went back to school and the girls and I were outside putting to use the chalk that Layla received in her Easter basket. We were making random pictures and Layla was scribbling, as any 3 year old would do, but then all of a sudden she started writing out actually letters. It amazed me. I buy her tracing books and she traces on her Leapad but to see my smart little girl, on her own, start writing letters was such an amazing, happy moment to see.
She started out with a backwards 2.
She then wanted to write Olive's name.
She then proceeded to write her own name.
The girl's brain is like a sponge. She is so smart and she amazes me everyday. Although I love seeing her grow and become her own person it's bittersweet because she's not a baby anymore. Love my Layla Rose.
